Hey, just because it's short doesn't mean anything. Remember back in Kick 1.0 when you couldn't even make a song with more than one pattern? People still made good stuff back then.
Now, as for this pattern... I agree that the bpm is a little too high. You need to remember that a pattern is basically just one bar of music, and properly space all the hits.
For your first few songs, I'd do something simple. Start with one sample(sound) and add quarter notes across the board, then add another with half notes, etc... And once you have that basic beat going, then get creative and try some new things with the other samples.
