Hello! thanks for trying out PSPKick v3.0. I wanted to take a moment to
briefly explain one of the advanced techniques of PSPKick: From the pattern editor, hit analog up + right trigger. This will make an exact copy of your current pattern in the nearest empty pattern. What is this good for? Let's say that you're in a strong creative flow- You have a pattern that sounds good and you want to make some variations on it. Well, you can instantaneously copy it with analog up + right trigger, add some more hits, remove some hits, then make another copy with analog up + right trigger, change some notes around, make more copies, unmute some tracks, etc. Keeping your flow moving smoothly and steadily, you now have a series of variations on a pattern! If you want, you can go back and perfect them, but no matter what, your creative streak is recorded! BTW, thanks to beta-tester Diallo for suggesting this feature. We welcome any further suggestions. And seriously, this is one of those few programs where the manual will actually be useful. Last edited by shifty; 04-04-2006 at 09:01 AM.. |
