Since its been touched on in another thread..

I see someone has gotten PSPKick v3 to work on a 2.6 with Bock...

Please use this thread to explain to all what you did to get it working! It would be great to get this out and about so everyone can use it!

Ok i got this working. What I did,

I copied the folder named pspkickv3.0 1 or sumthing to my game folder and then renamed it pspkickv3.0. I then copied the eboot from the root of the zip file replacing the one in the folder. Loaded up the eloader and it worked

I can confirm this, and i did not make any changes, just used the folder without the % as usual.

I tried both - the eboot from the root and the one from the folder without % (and with cpu speed 222 and 333) - but it doesn´t work on my psp-1001 with FW 2.6 neither with GTA German (16+) nor with my EURO GTA (18+).

My PSP 1.5 don´t have Problems, so I can say, good work anyway, but a few things I don´t understand:
- how to save (full songs)
- how to load (full songs)
- how to listen (full songs)

sry, only read "ingame" help ...

I already tried that, and it doesn't work for me. I'm on FW 2.0, eboot loader 0.97 (Bock) (so no GTA).

Default So close it's practically a tease.

Right, here's what I have:

PSP v2.6
Fanjita's Super Bock e-Loader v.97
GTA

Here's what I did:

I tried all of the eboots (separately of course) in the "stock" [PSPKick3.0 1] folder.

-No dice. The initial screen will load and freeze, then power down.

I then tried all of the eboots (again, separately) in the "modified" [PSPKick3.0] folder.

-Again, no dice. I simply got error 8001 in a large grainy font. Then it would return to the loader.

Anyone have the same problem? For about a billion reasons I'd love to get this running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, but there is a certain irony in PSPKick apparently working on 2.6 eLoader GTA edition, and not on 2.0 eLoader Tiff Exploit only.

There are a few discrepinces (sp??) between compatibility in the GTA and TIFF loaders... but either way 2.00 has access to both

Default Soundpacks

Ok, good call, so there's a possibility that the default soundpack could be an issue for 2.6 users... getting a step closer! Now if we only had Fanjita, Noah, and Nathan here to spoonfeed us... coz god knows I need it.

ok. the files that asked is the ones that freeze this software (i think)
becuase i toke soundpack folder off
and pspkick asked for this files below, i put the files in right order and the psp frozze the same as with everything on
they are located at drums
Folders/ kick , snare , hat , tom , clap , rim , synth

wav/ kick , 909Bassdrum , snare , snare2 , 909Openhat , hitHatClosed , Lowtom , HighTom , 808Clap , 707Rimshot , synthHit , bassSynth2

i think it may be the names, (2 big for the loader to read) or something

Try editting SONGXXX.kick in the songs folder, so that it doesn't look for those files hwen you start up

Default Soundpack files

I imagine (reaching here) that that specific .kick file is simply drawing from the instruments that every other .kick file would draw from... possibly it's not the instruments themselves, but the specific song in question... anyone tried loading a different song? I can't wait til The devs come in and put a halt to our incessant bug fix attempts... but it's fun while it lasts

@ Skizzy : that specific .kick file is the default song which is being loaded, meaning thats the file thats calling up those sounds, meaning if youre having problems with the sounds, taking them out of that kick file could help solve the problem.

Make a backup and try it

Default .Skin files

Call it a guess, but I think the .skin file is literally that... the skin.

I've never used PSPKick before, so I don't know how to modify the .kick file :/ I do get your point though aiidh(sp?) God I need broadband.
