PSP to TV using USB/AV cable?

This is a discussion on PSP to TV using USB/AV cable? within the PSP Homebrew and Hacks Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; is this possible? i mean there shud be some way you can transmit video output thru the usb? anyone found ...

Default PSP to TV using USB/AV cable?

is this possible? i mean there shud be some way you can transmit video output thru the usb? anyone found any other way to do this? apart from those ones that jus project the image? maybe sony are keeping this a secret for the next firmware 3.0?

maybe a slim to never chance they will. but isn't the whole point of the PSP is to be portable?

yeah but its still good to be able to play on a larger screen and share movies with others thru home entertainment. just wanna kno if it was possible to go av thru usb?

what type of emulators does it run?

it shud run all the old emulators. not sure about umd emulators it would be great tho. my psp is getting a nu lcd

yeah... thats a bit bulky and i heard reviews that the image quality just isnt there. someone shud develop a cable that taps into the video output so it can be projected thru the av/usb cable. i tried my ipod video cable with no luck. but sony didnt want to make it video capable because of ps2 sales. because who wud buy a ps2 if you can get a PSP instead :icon_wink

If you are talking about PSP2TV that is in no way bulky, but just a ***** to install and is much better than the other PSP on TV adapters that are like cameras that go over the screen

to be honest I don't think u would be able to get a good transfer rate through usb so the frame rate would be VERY low or just low overall image quality, not really worth it.
