i put custom wallpapers on my psp and they're great except for one thing: when i go to my lumines umd, when the custom background loads, the blocks that are usually all different colors (bluish, i guess, hard to describe) turn black and gray and stuff. it's hard to explain sorry this is unclear but has anyone else had this problem.

(sorry if thiis is the wrong forum too, since it was related to PSPersonalize i thought i could post it here)

edit: my pspkick 1.0 icon and background are also messed up, i don't know what the problem is.

try another background i think the pic you have is not in 24 bit check the readme file for pspersonalize it says something about icons not showing up properly i think thats what your looking for

checked the readme for pspersonalize, all the file specifications apply to my image. besides, i downloaded the images from the gallery section on this site so im pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the images.

anyone else have any idea on what to do here?

My Kick icons were messed aswell, and the ones that I made my self to meet all the specs were aswell. I found some newer icons and bg's in the last few pages 11-14 in the ICON and BG Thread that I like and they work fine.

I am NOT having any of these problems even though I have Lumines and a custom background. I dont know what to say boys...sorry

i used custom icons for the ones that i was having problems with.. problem fixed and they look nicer too

i fixed the lumines background using the coded arms iso's (hehe) background that successfully loaded and copied over the coded arms bg with the lumines (that was quite the run-on sentence) but im happy now. ON TO PSP KICK!

EDIT: well it took me approx. 6 minutes but i successfully edited the psp kick icon/background into 24 bit 96 dpi PNG files. took me long enough...
