I’m posting these observations hoping that they might be useful in increasing the stability of the eloader. I appreciate that the “Readme” says that the loader works best after a hard reboot, but it’s nice if this is not a necessity. Please take these comments as constructive feedback.
(1) I find the PSP, with Bock on FW2.0, often gets in a state/mode where very few homebrews will run or will only partially run. Four out of twenty one (Polygon, PSPRevolution,Homer's rin and Squarez) are ok though!. This often happens after I’ve used the browser (but not always). During this time both shoulders/start will still return to the loader menu, which is strange. A hard reboot re-sets the PSP (mostly). Can others confirm this?
(2) Now, I appreciate how much the eloader has come on in such a short time, with all the work done by Fanjita and Ditlew, so don’t flame me. I’ve been using the loader since v0.7 (when I first heard about it) and I find that v0.85 to be most stable if you don’t do a hard reboot all the time.
(3) Is there a limit on the number of “Homebrews” that Bocks menu can support? I added one extra homebrew (PSPRadio), pressed select to rebuild the list and it locked up with “Scanning”. I’ve seen others report similar when first installing the loader but I’ve never had the problem. Removing one piece of “Homebrew” cured the problem.
