Hello everybody,

Everybody knows that firmware 3.0 is comming. I just want to warn you all. DONT upgrade to 3.0. Specialy for the 1.5 users.

Your homebrew psp would be worth allot of money in 2 years from now. Becouse there will be no homebrew on 3.0. Maybe there is. But it's almost impossible becouse sony aint stupid. They know how we load the homebrew.

This upcomming homebrew is going to be the same as hacking the world bank.

If you have a 1.5, 2.0, 2.01, 2.5 or 2.6 dont upgrade it. In 2 years there will be allot more firmware to released.

But there is nothing that our psp's cant do. Homebrew is endless you can do everything with it.

Do you remember the times that there was no homebrew for you? That time sucked. There is no homebrew for 3.0 or higher in the future. Maybe there is maybe there isnt. Who knows.

But in 2 years there are allot of new psp users that cant run homebrew. If you want to sell your psp do it in 2 years from now you can earn allot of money for it. Specialy for the 1.5 users.

Sony is talking so nice about 3.0 but dont fool into this. It's just a trick.

It's nice that there is a psone emulator on 3.0 there will be one for us too.

dude, chill fanjita said himself they can only change the scyllas. We have found 95% of the scyllas's. Dont worry we will always have the gta lcs hack, and the impossible is starting to prove to be possible....we thought we would never have wifi, well looks like we wrong. i always thought you needed kernel mode for it...guess not.

Yeah. I think it was the guy who made the Quakev2 + GP who found how to load wifi libraries within a game on 2.00+. Told Fanjita and he put em in the loader. (not sure exactly)

It was the same when 2.0 came out, en they cracked it,
Then Sony came with 2.5 & 2.6 cracked it,
Now Sony will come with 3.0 -> Everything can be cracked, only a matter of Time.

they still have those fixes, they are just retarded though and added more things without checking themselves that added vaurnabilities.

2.0 - the TIFF Exploit - not in either 1.51 or 1.52

2.01+ - GTA Exploit - Not playable on 1.51 or 1.52

If they got rid of the security fixes from 1.51 and 1.52 then we could run eboots off the game menu again.

the reason they never cracked 1.51 and 1.52 is because they could upgrade to 2.00 or mny people just had a 1.5 psp because the other two updates had no real changes

lol the 3.0 best be having a ps1 emulator, roms for 5 bucks or less (crash bandicoot RULZ) the gta expolit has to work on 3.0 and someone has to get smashgp working for the eloader for me to update, also if i was in a good mood.

I think 3.0 has the best chance of being hacked so that you can play games from the XMB now that Sony is releasing downloadable games. Running games(I mean homebrew not dumps of UMDs) off the mem stick is what we want to do.

hello i made that quake v2+gp package the actually programs quakev2 and serverbrowser GP in it where made by someone else.

when i inserted that serverbrowser in quake v2 wen it came out on 3 or 2 april 2006, wifi worked already on my 2.5 firmware psp with that openTTD tycoon game and the ebock loader. the wifi in quake v2 was also working on a 2.xx or higher psp
but the on screen keybord didnt work on a 2.xx or higher psp so there wasnt a way to really join a server only join a adhoc server and with the gp serverbrowser there was

so i dont no anything about the wifi and how to load wifi libraries and i dont have any contact with fanjita and i dont know nothing about programming

1. It's "syscalls", not "scyllas's"
2. We might not always have the GTA hack, if they make the syscalls random enough, Fanjita, Ditlew and all the other 2.00+ hackers might not be able to find enough of them.

Does no-one realise the difference between an emulator and a port? Sony never said that there would be an emulator. The games will probably just be expensive (Have I missed the announcement in which Sony say that the games will be "5 bucks or less"?), crappy ports.

Re-read his post again. He's just saying it would be "best" for Sony to make a PS1 emulator and release the games at under $5. (Personally I wouldn't pay more than 0.99 for an old PS1 game...except maybe Valkyrie Profile or some of the other rarer games.)
