Default How to boost the sound of .avi files?

Im using psplayerMT to play .avi files on my psp, only down side is when im done resizing with virtualdub the sound is to soft to hear it properly (speakers of the psp). Anyone know a way to boost the sound of a .avi file?
Hopely a quick way.

if you use a converter to make .mp4 video files, the options let you boost the sound

or you can use headphones

But i dont wanna play .mp4 files, like full resolution .avi files way better.
It's fun sometimes watching a ep of simpsons or south park with some friends at school, but its really hard if u cant hear half what they are saying

In PSPlayerMT, while playing your avi hold down circle and hit right on the D-pad to increase volume as much as desired, and left to decrease.
