hi i can get dgen 1.3 to run through the gta eloader but the rom just isint thier , i have tried putting it (in zipped format) at the root of my memory stick and in the dgen foder and in a roms folder in the dgen folder

My roms are zipped and they're fine. Try a different rom to see if it works. If it doesn't use a different megadrive/genesis emulator, for example PSPGensis, or DGEN 0.7

ive downloaded sonic the hedgehog 3 and yeah we call it the mega drive in england , ive just got dgen 1.4 and are gonna try now

k 1.40 wont load it says found suspicious hard path at 08A55198 in ms0:/PSP/GAME then says press a button to continue so i do and then the psp just shuts off

but i have ver 1.30 and ver 0.7 that work perfectly and just wont find the rom the format is .7z

no they wont,,they should be zip format,,,not rar or .7z

I tried the .7z format at first too dgen wont recognize it. It has to be .zip

i renamed sonic the hedgehog 3 and when i tryed loading the psp shut off

I can't get 1.30 to work either so I use 1.10c which works just fine. The sound isn't choppy like in 0.70 but is the same as in PSPGenesis. So my advice is to get 1.10c. I dont know the link though so search for it around her.

How come DGEN 1.3 crashes psp when I start it up now? It wasn't happening before, anyone know what I should do? Using latest eloader on 2.6 with emenu.

When you launch dgen 1.3 it should bring up its folder with the cave, config and roms folder, just navigate to that folder and load it. Works fine for me.
