New version, new fixes, new features :-)
# [FIX] key combo are now allowed in game when not assigned to a specific feature (L+R, ...).
# [FIX] annoying ingame popups ("3", ...) should be gone.
# [FIX] sound issues after loading a savestate should be gone.
# [FIX] noise issue when starting a game fixed.
# [FIX] now should exit without crashing on psp 2.xx.
# [FIX] uncompressed rom now have loading progress bar too.
# [FIX] improved ips patch handling, still not perfect. Try to IPS patch your game before putting them on PSP.
# [FIX] credits screen fixed.
# [NEW] me version : started to implement a "pseudo sleep mode". psp clock is reduced, screen is turned off and buttons won't respond.
however, the backlight cannot be switched off automatically, neither the psp put to real sleep mode.
hold the display button for 2s to completely turn off the LCD.
# [NEW] GUI reworked a bit.
# [NEW] beep sounds when selecting stuff in menu & file browser can now be turned off in menu / misc / pad beep.
# [NEW] sound output volume doubled.
# [NEW] added a 300Mhz setting for eLoader 0.97 (333Mhz won't work on this eLoader version, because of wifi : thx fanjita ;-) )
# [NEW] savestate export to snes9x (using snes9x slot 1). Copy the SAVES/.000 to your PC and load in snes9x.
# [NEW] little intro :-) Press a button to skip it if you don't like it

Make sure u use eloader 0.96 when u use this for faster speeds. If u use eloader 0.97, the 333 mhz doesnt work right unlike in 0.96 its works fine. This is a GREAT release. The new gui PWNS soooo much. A Must have for all psp homebrew users.

This is much better than the previous one, i now think that it is better than .3 finally.

However i sometimes get an error of "out of memory" when trying to go to the menu. I assume it's because the menu uses more memory(with the background that i added to the .zip file)

Wait, so with 0.97 eloader 333mhz doesn't work well, or at all? How much slower do you think it would run than .2c at 333mhz?

I've been waiting for this update ever since I downloaded the 0.4 major release. Gonna download it now. It was a little annoying with the music not working when loading up save states sometimes. The number thing also needed to be fixed. If they fixed those two things, I'm happy.

Hey guys, I been having a serious issue with both of the recent releases of this emu. I'm running on a 1.5, using the ME version. Everytime I try to do anything save related(including export SS), it seems to take. But whenever I go to exit out of the emu, it will say "cannot save settings". Now here's the messed up part: it corrupts my MS, and I have to format, losing everthing (good thing I made backups). It has been doing this ever since I started using the new versions. I never had this happen when I used version .3. Anyone have any ideas? It's killing me.... Thanks in advance.

It works pretty well now that it runs at 300mhz

Not exactly. I still have sound troubles after loading a saved state. The music in the game works, but the sound effects go away. =/

Still a good release nontheless.

helpful... I did read it. but I don't know what some of it means unfortunately.

How do I make the emulator not bring the menu up everytime I press L+R together?

That's all I ask. Sorry if I'm too dumb to understand what the list of new features is saying.

edit: Nevermind. I figured it out. For anyone who had the same issue, go to the controls menu and use the redefine option to change the button combination that triggers the menu. Now you can do some sweet moves without accidentally returning to the menu screen. :icon_wink

Yeah it didnt work for my 2.00 either but someone in the comments section posted a link to it minus the intro and that version works for me well enough so far. Here it is.

Ok I was still using the old 2c version for 1.50 would you all say this is the FAR better upgrade, speed wise and so to go with now..?

Only reason I didnt go 3 was because of speed issues. Just checking. =) Also fyi in the new poll, this made my spotlight =)

Yes it is FAR better speed wise .Also games like megamanx don't speed up for no reason because u can setup speed limit fps.
