I'm hooking up my friends 2.01 with the gta exploit and managed to get the nesterj and rin emu's to work, but when I enter the snes the screen goes white and freezes up the psp, what can I do to get it working properly? I'm also having a prob with dgen, is there a genesis emu that works on this fw? Sorry, I have 1.5 on mine so this eloader is new to me, thanks.

[EDIT] I tried to download the non-intro version but the file header was damaged all 3 times I tried to dl it

yeah the difference between 1.5 and 2.01.
for your 1.5 you use the 1.5 folders but with the 2.01 use the 1.00 folder.

yeah, I tried to use the 1.0 folder and it still does the same, white screen. I see that a lot of people are having the same problem but can't really find a solution.

may be the version of the emulator.
not sure what to suggest.
try an earlier version of the emulator.

ok, Ive tried the 0.4.1 for the snes emu and it still gives me the white screen, also when I
use the dgen it loads but freezes right when the gui appears, the dgen I tried were 1.3 and 1.4

make sure your dl the standard version and not the me version

Where are people getting this issue? Everyone keeps talking about a white screen freeze problem, but it runs perfectly fine for me...

With eLoader on a 2.6 PSP it freezes at the intro. So a white screen just sits there......

There's an issue in there somewhere....I also thought it might be the eLoader. There is something wrong with it when 333Mhz is enabled because of the whole WiFi thing in the emu.
So I thought maybe when we set eLoader to 333Mhz in the eLoader menu, and start up SNES TYL, it might be because of this..........

Well, the intro works perfectly fine for me. And the games all run well too. There's no issues at all when I use it. Strange...

The intro apparently ALWAYS breaks on some PSPs, that ultimately have absolutely nothing in common, but then works perfectly fine on other PSPs, even if they have the same firmware and eloader version.

Just my build without the intro up above.

Is there any solution for the DGEN emulator problems? I have 2.01 psp and it freezes for like 10 seconds then shuts off.

You're best bet would be to grab an older version of Dgen that pre 1.30. The sounds might not be as good, but some people have had less crashing issues, etc.
