Hi,

The newest version of the great Snes TYL emulator has a few bugs for 2.0+ users. One of these bugs is that the emulator freezes on a white screen and then crashs. The fix for this problem can be found here:

This is for the newest version, maybe you are just lucky, a lot of people are having these problems, if you could download the fix and re-host it on another site, I would be grateful.

Oh! I did some searching and I guess that the intro freezes for some people? I can see it just fine, and it's pretty awsome. Too bad it doesn't work for everybody. Oh, and about hosting the fix, sorry. I'm at school and I had just enough time to sneak this reply in. I can't do it now, sorry!

I probably could host it myself, but my upload is capped at 30KBps, which is no where near fast enough, so rapidshare will do until somebody comes up with something better.

Haha, thanks for taking the time to edit and recompile SNESTYL 0.4.2 liquidtenmillion.

I believe someone said on Yoyofr's forums that it's caused by loading a GTA save game and then loading the eLoader. Anyway, thanks again!

I tried this fix even if the original v0.4.2 works with my 2.0 PSP. It somehow corrected the freezing problem I encountered when playing Super Mario 3 with v0.4.2. However, I had exit problem when using this fix. The original version already fix the exit problem. I don't know what went wrong though with version w/out the intro. And I'm not sure if I am the only one having this issue. Anyway, thanks.

By the way, I am using eloader 0.97 tif exploits (?).

There shouldn't be any exit problems. Try installing JUST the "eboot.pbp" and the "data" folders, leaving out all of the other files in the snes9xTYL folder, and try from there.

(IE, looking at /psp/game/snes9xTYL you will only see Eboot.pbp and Data)

Make sure that you go back to the Game Menu (L + R), Select a new ROM to load, Press L + R and Press Circle to the confirmation, that works for me.

OK I think I found the problem don't rename the folder and if you did rename to "snes9xTYL", without the quotes.
