What homebrews will I lose if I get 2.6?

Ok, the reason I need firmware 2.6 is because I would like to play my 2.6 movies, and games. (i.e. Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, and Syphon Filter) I currently have 2.01 firmware, and it has gotten quite boring. I don't use many homebrews. At the moment I use Cheat Device 1.0d, Homers RIN, DGEN, uo_snes, lua player, quake multiplayer, file assistant, psppad, , and graphic creator 2.0. I'm planning to update to 3.0 no matter what when it comes out. (because of the ps1 emulator)

So uh. Is there any important homebrew i'll lose?
I really want to know if there is anything I will regret? Remember, 2.6. I mean with 2.01 you still have to load GTA (which takes forever) to load e loader.

Absolutly nothing, because neither have kernel access, and you'll be using the same loader even.

You'll only get more game support, RSS, and WMA music playback as a bonus. Remember though, 2.7+ means no homebrew.

if not buy final fantasy 7 for dvd and splinter cell on ps2 or something

Well. That means nothing's impossible for 2.6 either. But I heard they would need an encryption key to disable the read only thing.

Theres no chance for a downgrader.

I'd upgrade to 2.6, because if they find something it 2.0 and 2.01 (see Fanjita and Ditlew's site for more info), they will most likely find the 2.5 and 2.6 syscalls, like they have previously done.

i wouldnt upgrade to 2.6 i'd sell a 2.0 and use tht money for a 2.6 and sme extra cash for splinter cell (bc its awesome imo that is bc everyone else says it sucks)
