i have some good ideas of what i think the next version of ir shell should have as extensions built in that would make it over the top and by far the best app for psp

- pimpstreamer instead of pmpmod
- pspradio (listen to internet radio while playin games)
- toggle spatial FX from file assistant 1.2 (sounds much better in earphones)
- savestate of any app or game (if not this then daxziso should have save state to get past those games where you cant save)

let me know what you think and post some of your ideas if you can think of any.

Daxziso/savestate any app will most likely not be implemented as Ahman does not promote the use of ISOs.

and i just found out you can make your own plugins but the only reason we cant get pimpstreamer to work is coz we need the source to change it into an irshell compatible pbp

It should display DAX-ZISO in Homebrew List... for some Reason, not minding HOW I rename the Folders... Its not on the Homebrew List...

But I can boot it by directly navigating into its Folder...

Other than that, maybe a direct AVI-Playback or something... Cause everything else what I need is in there already (listen to my favourite MP3 while playing~ WOAHOOO!)

hmmm, IMHO the only thing that I would ask for would be the ablitly to scroll when viewing an image bigger than 480x272.

the app does a great job of fitting the image to the width of the screen, but its fixed at the top and everything else is cut off.

being able to scroll would enable you to read things like manga/comic scans and i tried a few folders already that I use with PEP viewer. it works great in IRshell but no scroll. PEP tends to crash alot on me on random images....

You could just use the regular psp image veiwer.

The regular psp image viewer SUX for reading manga, its slow to focus, and everytime you move to the next image the viewer is centered and you gotta scoll up everytime. plus after awhile the viewer wont focus completely...

regardless the psp viewer blows for reading comics. if it didn't, I wouldn't be begging for a scroll fearture in irShell

Ok,
- First I really don't think that PSPRadio would be possible (just think of the memory it must take), but would be cool

-Save States would be FREAKEN AWSOME, not just for comerical games (hey, I like to save before boss battles all right), but would be useful for homebrew that dosen't have saves (like rootage)

-Links2 would be awsome and useful (for getting walkthroughs and reading them off the mem stick)

-One that know one said was the MPH game launcher (thats already a PRX, isint it?) so you don't have to launch another program to play higher FW games

the 4gb datel hdd would be the first thing id like added coz its annoying keep coming out of ir shell just to go back into it, anyways

*note this is JUST for the newest beta, untill the public release comes out this is just for you beta testers*

here are the files i have modded to read from the host:/ drive when hooked up to usb mode

how to use these: load up irshell beta, connect to yoru pc via usb, place these files in the same directory as your usbhostfs_pc.exe is, and run the PBP files included in the packs below:

PSPlayerMT - Plays mp4 and other media files

SNESTYL4.2 - Plays Snes roms
*note - once you have booted SNESTYL do NOT move files in and out of the roms folder or it will freak out*

NES1.2alpha - plays nes roms
*note do not try to go to the directory above where your usbhostfs_pc.exe is or it freezes*

MPH Firmware Loader - Untested

DGEN - plays genisis games

Scumm - save games are saved to your psp memory stick

If you want a program made to be compatible with the new host0:/ function please reply here
