Default Damage PSP when working on 333Mhz?

I was wondering if it is safe to use psp clock at 333Mhz? Will it brick PSP or dead pixels or stuff? I heard that somebody bricked his 2.6 PSP when using 333Mhz.

Whats ur opinion?

I hear it CAN be dangerous if you run it like that for a longggg time..(overheat)

But i never heard of people bricking them..

Ive been runing my psp at 333mhz and nothing bad happened, the only sideeffects are battery usage, psp getting hot, possible bricking while running PSPlayerMT in 333mhz (2.6 tho, no flash 0 access).

No damage at all. The PSP CPU is meant to run at 333mhz.

PSP was built to run at 333mhz, so you should be fine.

It will eat your battery, but that's it.

^^beaten to it.

First of all, it doesn't brick or dead pixels or anything like that. And NOBODY can brick the PSP when overclocking it. And it isn't opinion, it's fact that you don't do damage to it. Remember:

A bricked PSP is when something to flash0 or flash1 is disruppted in the middle, and you don't have all your flash files.

Dead pixels are whne one pixel's transistor isn't working. (All of the pixels have three transistors: Red, Green, and Blue)

It is impossible to brick a 2.60 PSP, unless you manullay do it by unscrewing the back of the PSP and messing with the stuff inside.

Yet it is possible to do some damage, as in over-heating. I usually overclock it when playing the cheatdevice, and when it gets to 34 C+, I shut it off and let it rest. Just feel the back of the PSP to see if it is hot or not.

I always had my 2.6 Homebrew running
at 333mhz. Kills the battery, but hey,
It works faster and more efficiantly.

Or...If you throw your psp onto the floor.

The best method I have heard about bricking your psp, is holding it up to a brick wall, joking with your friends that it's a "brick" and then accidently drop it.

Now that's irony and stupidity!
