Bug fixes & New Features. Will Only release OpenBOR from now on as the performance is identical to my last release of Beats Of Rage.

Updates:
-----> Runs at full 60 fps @ 333 and 48~58 fps @ 222!
-----> Bug Fix when attacking rider crashed PSP.
-----> Control bug Fix I introduced during Pause Menu (This will overwrite settings.sav)
-----> Bug fix Hall Of Fame.
-----> Use the new filemenu.png as it will be using more inputs.
-----> All Necessary Directories will now be created automatically.

New Features:
-----> Screen Shots will now save under PSP/Photo directory with Name of Mod.
-----> New Frames Per Second Counter under PSP Options.
-----> New video.txt support for Mod Creaters (Allows Full WideScreen Resolution (480x272))

- Wireless 2 Player support (Currently In progress)

Usage:
- Images Directory and filemenu.png are necessary for BOR. Place them in the same directory as eboot.
- Beats Of Rage Sites I hang out: http://senileteam.com/ http://openbor.net/ http://www.borgeneration.com/ http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/
- Download and save mods in 'Paks' Directory.
- Startup Game and select the *.pak file you want to play and Press 'X'.

were are the blady mods! there are a couple at the site u said but the site is always down! i was in the midle of a 2 hour donwload of the mod and the site went down it stopped~!

omg i neeeeeeeeeed to play this game can anyone give me a mod???

Age of The Beast will be released for PC Dos. Once that happenes and the source is released I will start porting it over.

well some games do work, for those like under 100mb
but for some games like ChronoKiller, they have over 100mb and whenever i load, it takes me back to main menu of PSP, it did work out fine on PC though
and i downloaded the PC version
is there any difference to DC version/??

Post the log file that is generated by BOR. Copy and paste it here. There is only one limitation and that is we only have 24 MBytes to play as the OS reserves 8 MBytes. The game is streamed in level by level and flushes out the memory after every level if the Thresold is set to Normal under PSP options. I believe you might have another problem.... So do post the contents of the log file here and we can probably get it working or at least find out what the problem is for sure. I have played mods that were greater than 140 MBytes with no problems.

For more detailed information if the directions where not clear enough....

Open and extract bor.pak from the zip file to your PC. Once you have done that then... copy it to the memory stick. A good place to keep your pak files would be where you keep the eboot.pbp file in the directory called Paks. Then startup up the game. It will look like a file menu, goto the directory that has bor.pak, highlight it and press 'X'.

ah ha. So u need to download these paks in order for the game to work. So do these packs just have character skins or is their like a differnet AI or like background or scenario?

Beats of Rage is a game engine the same way doom is a game engine. You still need the pak files (aka games) to play. Check out the sites i included... many, many, mods out there! My personal favorite is "A Tale Of Vengence" mod.

as i said if anyone is making a mod i would be glad to make some music for it, i have a tune i made called evil people and i think it would go perfect to any beats of rage mod i talk about quite a bit of stuff about what happens in beats of rage aswel i have other tunes that would work aswel if anyone is interested please contact me

KungPow from BorRev has completed his mod: Sailor Moon Plus Genesis Mix (big name) You can downloaded it from here: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/...opic.php?t=364

This mod uses the full screen for cinematics and such. In-game play is still what we have been used to.
