I've ported the prxdecrypter sample of the pspsdk to 260, that decrypts the flash modules using native functions from the firmware (sceKernelCheckExecFile)

According to my tests on an emulated 2.50, it should work, but not tested in a real firmware.

Anyways, this release is hard-coded for 2.60 only, not for 2.50

Instructions:

- Init prxdecrypter in GTA
- The memstick will flash for a while.
- When it finishes to flash, restart the psp.
- Connect the usb and you'll see (hopefully) the decrypted files in "ms0:/kd" and "ms0:/vsh/module"

UPDATE: It's confirmed that it decrypted most prx's, but some prx's didn't decrypt and some are invalid, i don't know why.

So if a 2.6 user runs this, the PRXs will be decrypted for use in Devhook?

They will be decrypted hopefully. Anyways, devhook uses encrypted prx's, but it needs to decrypt the reboot.bin from the decrypted loadexec.prx first.

Also, Booster should have to modify his code, since he does specific patches for 2.00 and 2.50 firmware.

Been some time since we last heard from ya, already thought u were gone... happy that we got you back!

And just offtopic... an estimate date bout next dax-ziso release? Or ever thought of teaming up with booster?

Cause your compression method just is WAY BETTER... it was hurting me when i had to CSO all my games... and still they were 100mb bigger than their dax-opponents...

I would test the release... but i sold my 2.6 soon after getting a 1.5...

I used up some of my free time and let this program attempt to dump the prx-files.

it worked quite fine so i packed all the files (from 15mb to 5mb) and uploaded them on RS, too.

i hope it might help you.

Thank, it happened the same that with other dump that another person sent me:

- Most prx's decrypted fine

- Some of them (loadcore) didn't

- Some of them are totally bad decrypted (invalid data at the header)

- Some of them like loadexec.prx was really libupdown.prx repeated :S
