Default How does Dev Hook work?

I downloaded Dev Hook and installed it - but do I need to download the Firmware files too? Do they need to be unpacked?

Is there a procedure for how to do this? I didn't see any instrucitons in the readme file in the devhook folder.

Thanks.

Since do you average about 21 posts PER DAY, why don't you take the time explaining it to him instead of telling to to go to Google?

21 posts per day.. lmfao.. do you not have anything better to do with your life other than be at this site? I wonder what you do on other forums...

Sorry if I was vague.

I was reading that you can use Devhook to run your own games in .iso mode right off your memory stick, instead of the UMD and you don't have to deal with really long loading times or any of that hassle.

What I'm basically trying to figure out is:

1. How do I convert my game (Monster Hunter) from the UMD to an iso file? Or is this not possible?

2. Then, do I need to convert the iso file or leave it as is?

3. Then what program do I use to run the iso file on the PSP fro mmy memory stick?

Or am I clueless and I should just go buy a Nintendo DS?

j/k
