Default Sod's law, Kernal access a few days after the first sales of the modchip
It really is sod's law, lots of people getting happy about the modchip and lots ordering 1, then a few days later, a kernal access 'hack' is found.

Not that anything will happen with the kernal access for a few days i should think, but i just find it weird

quite the opposite. i have a pre-mod on the way (yea it was expensive) but i'm stoked on it. my pre-mod will go a lot farther than a momentary fw loophole and that's for sure.

no, most of the ppl who bought the Modchip have a Bricked or 2.7+ PSP not to many ppl the have 2.01+ got 1

Yea, my stupid friend went from 1.5-2.71 for flash games! I mean, he had to upgrade to 2.5 for a game,(should have used UMD runners) but then to 2.71! I even told him about homebrews!
