This sucks, I have Tony Hawks American Sk8land, Pokemon Emerald, and Namco Museum 50th Anniversary, I tried evertying, the raw gba file, or the whole package in a .zip, it wont work! when I press x on a rom, it freezes, and in a few seconds it might turn off, and my PSP settings got corrupted or something, so I had to reset all the settings multiple times, what's wrong, and how do I fix it??????

Works
Fire Emblem 6 & 7, work perfectly and even better if you edit the in game options.
Golden Sun also works Pefect with sound but better without it.
Pokemon Emerald is a little slow, but good.
Metroid Fusion works Perfect as well.
Yugioh Day of the Duelist is playable but slow.

Not working
Riviera - The Promise Land - Loads but doesnt play.

Amazing emu, ZX-81! Thanks again for all your hard work on all your myriad ports...

Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero work slow but playable.

I have just one question about this emu though. How do I save games? When I play Metroid fusion and Metroid Zero, it appears to be saving when I enter the save rooms, but when I launch the games again, there are no save files.

When I go to the emu menu there is a save and load slot, but when I use these I get a "can't save game" error. Weird...

Thanks in advance people,

DrSarcasmo

Is there a "save" Folder in the "pspvba" Folder?

Make sure you have the "save" folder in the same folder as the eboot, or else you won't be able to save. Also, please only post games here. If you have errors, post them in the release thread. zx-81 is VERY good about replying and fixing problems, so feel free to post.

Also, Yu-Gi-Oh! - World Championship 2004 and Dragon Ball Z - The Legacy of Goku II (U) work fairly well. Yu-Gi-OH is a card games, so it really doesn't need to run the fastest, but it still goes at a playable speed. The same with DragonballZ, it runs at a fairly good pace, but it could do a bit better.

I would set both at Games that run well but are a lil laggy

Settings:

Sound - Off
View - Fit (basically like 2x, so no distortion)
Frameskip - 2
Clockspeed - 333MHz

Put down Pokemon FireRed under a new category named "White Screen".

Edit: But why isn't it working? Isnt it just like the other pokemon Games?

Edit2: Some guys on GBA forums had the problem once. They say the save must be 128k, any body know how to change it?

Damn, I hoped someone was testing Riviera, that game was awesome. But thanks for mentioning Fire Emblem, and if you say they run perfectly, that totally makes my day

007 Everything or Nothing : Its laggy, imo unplayable but loads an plays throughout. ( SLOW )

Fire Emblem - The Sacred Stones: Menu is slightly Laggy, gameplay, sound is messed up, althrough gameplay is quite stable, turn off battle scenes for lag free gameplay.
|_ So get into the actual game, turn off sound and skip all scenes...

Sims 2: Gives me the black screen, then crashes/ powers down. MEH! ( 20mb too big? )

Oh well, will try more soon. ( AdvanceWars and such )

Ultimate Spiderman works pefectly as far as I can tell, except for the sound of course. Naturally Kingdom Hearts won't load, as the ROM file is like 35MB.

Make sure you have a 'SAVE' folder within your PSP/GAME/PSPVBA folder. Windows (was it WinZip?) does not extract folders that have no files in it.

Are you sure that isn't just it's size when it's zipped? Mine was considerably larger than that when I unzipped it.

Yeah, it's most likely zipped then. It won't work, because the emulator has to unzip it anyway and so it ends up having to load the entire thing, which is something like 35 MB.
