Default New GTA...?

I was thinking about getting back into the homebrew scene (My PSP's v2.6) but then I heard about this new GTA version which, apparently has eLoader patched out. :\
Just curious, but how recently did these new GTA versions start propagating?
I'm in Australia, so I'm wondering whether or not I should take the chance and buy it new from EB or hunt for a pre-owned copy; anyone from Australia stumbled upon the new GTA version?
Thanks.

Get a pre-owned copy and you should be safe as houses.
Might be an idea to pick up a second one as well.
I'am getting a second one myself to keep locked in the safe in case of accidents.
Just think, one spilt coffee and no more home brew....

The old GTA may be the last Hombrew key for a while.

Went to EB today and they had GTA new for $89.92AUD and pre-owned for $79.92.... but since they were having a sale, 25% off the price.
Long story short, got the pre-owned, and it's got a 2.0 update....
So homebrew, here I come!
