So If I had IC9001 would that be a TA-082 PSP?

EDIT:Can someone please help me,Im sorry it's just that i've been wanting to do this for a long time!

DOWNDATER\outputfl.bin

IF THIS IS ALL OK, YOU SHOULD BE SET:
* The two files and two folders mentioned above
* PSP\GAME\DOWNDATERTEST\EB OOT.PBP
* eLoader
* GTA
* A PSP THAT DID NOT COME WITH 2.50 OR 2.60 PRE-INSTALLED

Now... Go into GTA, go into eLoader, and run "DOWNDATER TEST".

The Memory Stick light will blink for about 2-3 minutes.

Afterwards, your PSP should reboot.

You should get the blue "Reset to defaults" screen. Press O.

The PSP will reboot again. You will have to define basic settings again.

You might notice a "Disc could not be read" error.

If you do, take the battery out, put it back in, and reboot.

I'm sorry I swear this is the last question. It's still about the background though. I have this unusual feeling mine is different from everyone elses. I know this is by far a stupid question but who the hell is aphex twin? and the picture in the background? Shouldnt I only have the wavy look in the back? I googled a 1.5 psp picture and it doesnt have the same thing?

The Downgrader does not only work with upgraded 2.5 and 2.6's that was a mistake is all it was just cleared up on irc by Mathieulh only the TA-082 models cannot use this downgrader all others work fine.

YOU CAN DOWNGRADE FACTORY 2.5 + 2.6 PSP'S YOU JUST CANT DOWNGRADE ta-082 MODEL PSP'S

I live far away from the box to so I have sadilite internet, it sucks but it is faster then the dial-up we use to have.

And what realy sucks is that we live a mile from a baseball stadium(the dell diamond (DAMN YOU DELL... I HATE YOU)) and the have a box but damn SBC said that even if we get switched to that box they won't give us DSL even though they could because we are in a "black zone".

I'll try the downgrader later when I learn more about it (and get the 1.5 files).

Well, I successfully downgraded my 2.6 PSP!!! wooh!, but it shows that I have a 2.01 Frimware, but I know I have 1.5(started the ME version of SNES tyl from the XMB)...wooh! but agian, why does it show 2.01?

No - just the one folder with the EBoot inside is fine.

PSP/GAME/DOWNDATER_2.50(or whatever)/Eboot.
