I was able to downgrade mine from factory 2.5. i had upgraded to 2.6 though.

it has no text on the PCB, so I don't think its a t802 mobo


is this downgrader safe for my white japanese psp, or do i need to do something special ?

i hade a psp 2.5 and swapped it for a 1.5 had it for a day it kept crashing during games so i swapped it back for my 2.5 then updated it to 2.6

this psp has no text on the inside of my umd tray but it was a 2.5 when i bought it brand new

is this safe?

i got text under battery "model psp-1003"

there is nothing special, so give it a try, a euro psp did it successfully;)

I downgraded, but now my background has some 3D symbol and it says aphex twin in the top right corner. why is this?
