Actually, can it be used on factory 2.60s? If so, I can just return my PSP and downgrade. That makes me happy if it is true.

EDIT: Found my answer. Sweet, although I bricked my PSP, I am returning it (ha ha) and getting a new one.

yes it is... all you do is extract the files to you psp drive and run it useing the eloader!!!

while this is going as a programmer all i can think of is if some freak occurance of my lcd brightness settings or volume settings or something causing some sort of leak and downgrade process to not work.. i truly am crapping my pants, and calling myself an idiot for trying this so soon. But what can i do, it's going. And it worked, i can now go change my shorts. GG dark alex and crew, time for me to start coding for psp

um, I dont know what you mean writing behind the umd, but it will work if your psp is currently 2.01 and you upgrade to 2.5/2.6 and you use this:

Here is all the files you need in one exe extracting folder. Just downlod the 2.5 or 2.6 version, start it up, and extract to the psp directory (or psp drive)
load up eloader and you are done!

Ive tried different discs, how can i be sure its not just piece of dirt in the discreader or something?
