I wanted to try the downgrader, too.
I have the right psp (non ta-82) board, not factory 2.6 so i wanted to test the downgrader and used the pack from http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/597
why didnt it work?
why do i still have 2.6?

Okay, this time it worked.
The first time it just stopped flashing after a few seconds and nothing really happened, but this time it went just fine.

I started off with a EU 2.01 from factory,formatted my memory stick, I updated to US 2.5, downloaded the 1.5 files off of psp-hacks and copied them to the right directories, installed Eloader Bock GTA,booted up the eloader,took out the GTA umd to stop the "Disc can not be read" error when it downgrades lol,ran the downdater and got about 3mins of black-screen with light flashing on my msDuo. It rebooted by itself and i hit O for the config to reset when it came up with the regular corrupt data screen and i had a 1.5 :Jump: :Jump: :Jump: :Jump: :Jump:
Ty so much Dark_Alex,Fanjita,Ditlew, Nem :p and all the other devs who have helped get to this point. I have been waiting 7 months for this and have been following the Eloader since it was Tetris in a save file ;)
link is wierd wont download it just refreshes nothing to download comes up :Argh:
