right ppl i eventually got the guts to try it its no joke the downgrader works 100%
my psp was a 2.5 i updated to 2.6 and downgraded to 1.5 it works no was installed in under 2 minutes so ppl with a factory 2.5 this does work

Some people had psps that came with 2.5 then they upgraded to 2.6 and it worked.

since it came with 2.5, you should check if you have the TA 82 hardware...

if you do, it will brick, if you dont, it wont...

until you check DO NOT USE DOWNGRADER!!!!

im still think about to downgrade my 2.6 EU PSP... :humped: but! ich have one initial question. I read about some rumors that you NEED a updated 2.6 PSP, did not work on initial 2.6 PSP buy'd? I used the forum search but did not find the thread about the serial listed on the PSP box to find out what firmware it was in the initial version in the store.

Can anyone, please, let me know if this is still a problem? And please let me know how i can find out which initial version my psp was. I buy'd this in ebay and i don't know if it was 2.6 or older!

Just out of curiosity, how many of you used your AC adapter while running the downgrader. Also, are any of you using a 2GB MS PRO Duo?

you had a hardware TA 81, some factory 2.5s have TA 82, WHICH WILL NOT WORK!!!!

so CHECK!!!

just download, extract, and load with gta...

you are set my firend...

but make sure you dont have a TA 82 hardware... OR IT WILL BRICK!!!

it hasn't got IC1006 printed in the top right hand corner so it is not 82 right?

the root is the top folderr isnt it? like the f:/ and not the MP_ROOT folder?
