Thanks a lot for this deturb, but I'm still not too sure about the differing regions. I think I'll wait until Dark_AleX wakes up, finalises the downgrader and sets all the myths clear.

the regions dont effect, I swear, i had a german, japanese, spanish ans US psp all downgrade with my files...

mine was Factory 2.5 and it worked, too. And now I have a 1.5. I have a German PSP.

no, unfortunetly there is not enough room on a 32 mb, you need a bigger stick...

DONT DO IT, IF YOU DO WITH A 32 MB STICK YOU WILL BRICK!!!!

sorry if this has been asked before...

i have a 2.01 psp (it came with 2.01 and the firmware has not been altered in any way since it came out of the box).

would this work if i updated to 2.5/2.6 and then downgraded or does it have to be a factory 2.5/2.6 from the start?

i dont have the dreaded TA 82 mainboard so this is the only bit of info i need before i do it.

The ones that are there are: DUMP, PRX, inputfl, and outputfl.

did you place the downdater folder with the eboot.pbp in the

x:/PSP/GAME/(here)

?????

if you did, then click "select" to refresh the eboot screen.... if all else fails, format and reinstall...

ok, im gonna make this simple...

get the exe, and when it asks where to extract selecr your psp drive

ex: f:/ (might be a different letter depending on your comuter)

then click extract...

then everything will be in the right place, and run using gta...

you need around 16 mb free when everything is installed on the MS
