sorry if this has been asked but i haev a factory 2.6. so does it work with that?? and has anyone bricked it with a factory 2.6 and i dont think i hae that Ta082 chip thx =p

the chip is all that matters, if you dont have the TA 82 chip you are fine to use the downgrader...

Well, I'm assuming I don't have the TA-82 hardware because I got my PSP BEFORE the launch date..The launch date was 1st September and I got mine 31st August at nighttime..

you'll be fine. deturbs files have a 100% sucess rate

I got a fw 1.0 Psp, which I updated by accident... And there is no text on umd side of the mobo So I think it is no ta-82....

no its fine, just make sure you have about 16 mb left of free space (min) it would be better to have less, cause too little memory could lead to a brick...

around 3- 5 min, it will restart for you when it is done, you will see it when it is compleat, it will go to a blue screen...

I just downgraded my factory 2.01 to 1.5!!! Better than an original 1.5....thanks to a improved D-pad. Everyone involved in making this you guys are amazing! And to Freeplay....you earned even more respect from me seeing how you handled being wrong about the downgrader. Not a hint of bitterness....just as excited as all the 2.5/2.6 users. Even upgrading your 1.5 for no reason other than to test....PSP scene needs more people like you man...and I'm still with ya on the epsilon bios being fake.

How would I get in contact with the downgrader makers....got some spare 1gig pro duos laying around and I would love to donate to all involved as a way to show my thanks. What a day this has been!
