all you have to do is run the program, and extract the file to your psp drive

^^ I never took battery out.... I immediatley restarted without waiting and everything worked out for me.

But I'd still do what it says on front page, since I may have just been lucky.

i appreciate what theyve done but this is gonna be really bad for psp game sales beside grandtheft auto of course......this is actually gonna hurt the psp community... :( :(
.and i have a 1.5 psp for those who think im just player hating....i know for a fact because since i downgraded from a 2.00 psp 4 months ago i never bougth another psp game again... since i could get all of my entertainment for free :PC: ...now think about it all these people gonna downgrade to -> then pooooffff sales go dooowwnn the drain....sure its all good now but its like global warning it will come back to bite you in the a$#...me personally i could care less because well im one of the people that steal sony money with a 1.5 psp.so rock on now :Punk: :Punk: :Punk: and feel the hung over later :sps2:

As long as you don't have a TA-082, it won't brick. Trust me.

I went from 2.6 back down to 1.5 and then I upgraded to 2.0 and then back down to 1.5 again. Everything is clean and running.

Success. Brickhouse is officially back down to 1.5. Thanks to all that helped and thanks to all the wonderful devs/hacks/decoder...whatever you want to call them.

I'll just call 'em God.
