i upgraded my 1.5 to 2.0 and then to 2.6. 1.5 to 2.6 didnt work for some reason. i was bored so i tested this downgrader^^ flashing now, will post results in a minute
EDIT: went fine, im at 1.5 again, feel free downgrading your :spspa:

1. ms0: DOWNDATER (2 folders inside ["DUMP" and "PRX"] and 2 files ["inputfl" and "outputfl"])

1. EBOOT.PBP (51 KB) (inside of the ms0: PSP/GAME/DownDater folder)
Inside of the ms0: DOWNDATER folder:
1. inputfl (BIN Image) - 9 KB
2. outputfl (BIN Image) - 6 KB
3. "DUMP" folder: containing folders "data", "dic", "font", "kd", "vsh". (with a total file size of 12.7 MB)
4. "PRX" folder: containing 7 files named: chkuppkg.prx, ipl_update.prx, lepton_update.prx, lflash_fatfmt.prx, libpsar.prx, suspend_canceler.prx, and testmode.prx (with a total file size of 283 KB)
now, i have discussed this with a 1.5 USER but he claims that these files might of came from a UK PSP FW 1.5, and NOT a US PSP FW 1.5
I just wanna ask anyone with a US PSP FW 1.5 to confirm that these files would work with my US PSP FW 2.6. or are the 1.5 FW dumps of a UK and US PSP different?

I really want to downgrade my UK 2.5 PSP but I've got a few worries. :Cry:
*Firstly its not a TA-082 motherboard inside. Also when I bought it used it had a update left on the memory card so I think its not a factory 2.5 I hope.
*Also I don't know anyone with a UK 1.5 PSP which I can get a firmware dump from :o Would using a USA 1.5 Update work on my UK PSP?
*Also I only have a 32 MB memory stick would I need a larger memory card to downgrade?
*Finally is there any long term effects on my PSP from downgrading?

There was no UK 1.5
1.52 was the earliest in the UK.
So any UK 1.5 was downgraded with a JAP 1.5 eboot.

you probably had a bad dump, one with a moded fw #... i reccommend upgrade to 2.0, then downgrade agin (with the 2.0 downgrader) to avoid anyother problems with the psp... :DZitat:

I've seen people confirming the downgrader to work with factory firmwares versions of 2.50/2.60. Is downgrading from factory firmwares possible as I have a white PSP with factory 2.60.
Also, what is the difference to the factory versions and other versions?
