Two users of elotrolado.net assert they have downgraded their TA-082 PSP succesfully and are running 1.5 firmware as normally.

Don´t know if I'm allowed to post external URL's -If I am, please let me know and I'll edit my post-, but in any case these are breaking news for all 2.6 users.

i copied the folder DOWNDATER FINAL AUTO EBOOT to the game folder,but after that where do i put the dumpded files and what are the src folder for. :Argh:

Turn off the PSP completly, leave the battery out for a few minutes, then turn it on.

do you even read???? on the front page there's an update which says that you should take your battery out of your psp for around 5 minutes, then put it back in and your umd SHOULD work..

I have tried, and it just keeps doing it, I'm still a little confused what i do.

I have put the folder in my PSP/GAME folder, loaded up GTA with the eLoader. Then, the screen goes black and it just goes "Disk could not be read". Am I missing anything?

@ ronwiel: I had the same problem. Then i re-installed everything and suddenly it was found in the Eloader, so perhaps that would help...

Alex, I already tried that. But I put the eboot straight in the game folder, I guess I need to put it in seperate folder then... :Argh:

no once you have downgraded you can delete them

im very vervous and very ocd.....i want to make sure im doing this correctly......in psp/game i have to make a new folder called DOWNGRADER and make a new folder inside that named 2.50 and make a new folder inside that called DOWNDATERTEST.......then i put the eboot from the DOWNDATER FINAL AUTO EBOOT folder into /PSP/GAME/DOWNGRADER/2.50/DOWNDATERTEST
then i place the folder called DOWNDATER which contains a DUMP folder and a PRX folder and two other files, onto the root of my mem stick
then i load up the Eloader

no, you have the eboot in the wrong place.

/PSP/GAME/DOWNDATERTEST/eboot.pbp

is everything else correct

thank you for the amazingly quick replyies. one more question. i have a 1.5 memory dump that i downloaded, that contains two folders, flash0 and flash1 are those what is supposed to be in teh dump and thats it. also, will all 1.5 homebrew work on it, like iso loaders and such

no, that is not the downdater file, that is a fw dump...

you need a different file than what you got...
