32MB stick will be fine with the latest downgrader. Just go to psp-hacks and download their downgrader package.Zitat:

I was jus wondering, since this is my first time, the only folder that the eboot from the DOWNDATER FINAL AUTO EBOOT folder is supposed to be in is the DOWNDATERTEST folder which would be put in the GAME folder, rite?
And also what files/folders should be in the DOWNDATER folder in the root?
thnx in advance
can someone help me I went to psp hacks and downloaded the 1.5 dump is that the same thing? cause I got a whoel bunch of folders like cert and vsh and other folders is that the right one?
Yep, that's the right one.Zitat:

hello, I have a question. I have 1.5 but im trying to downgrade my cousin's psp. He bought it 2.6 stock, will this downgrader work? Thanks
you should have 2 folders in side DOWNDATER (DUMP & PRX) and you should have inoutfl.bin and outputfl.bin.Zitat:

inside the DUMP you should have lots of folders (cert and vsh are 2 of those)
As long as he doesn't have a TA-82, it will work.Zitat:

Hi everyone this is my first post so be gentle.
Ok I have a factory 2.5 PSP, Does this downgrade work for mine ??
If it does not can I upgrade to 2.6 and then upgrade???
In the readme it says,
Do I copy the whole DOWNGRADER/2.50/DOWNDATERTEST file structure to my memstick or just the DOWNDATERTEST folder with the eboot inside?Zitat:
Copy the folder the DOWNGRADER/2.50/DOWNDATERTEST if you have 2.50
or DOWNGRADER/2.60/DOWNDATERTEST if you have 2.60 to /PSP/GAME/ in your memstick
Also by "copy to memstick" I guess it means the root folder?
I opened the UMD drive and I don't see any writing on the right side but there is a writing on the left.Zitat:

this is my last question before i downgrade...how com the eboot from psp-hacks is 53KB while the one from QJ is 43KB....even though they both say their the final version
That means you can downgrade.Zitat:
Zitat von exotic_pinoy
use the 43 kb, that is the auto detect one, which will auto detect your fw version...Zitat:

oh yea can i delete all the files i use to do this now that ive gotten the 1.5 firmware???
I have a question. But first, let me say that I was a 2.6 firmware user, and have succesfuly downgraded to 1.5! Before that I grabbed the updated pbp file that was recently released.
My question is, I've had to use the GTA exploit to use homebrew, but I'm having a problem getting the game to play.
For some reason, when I select UMD, it says "To start, you must update the system software."
So from here, I'm totally lost :(
If it matters, I'm using the stock 32mb memory stick as well, but I'll be upgrading in a couple days.
And one more thing, how will I be able to play Megaman Powered Up, which requires 2.50 and above? Thanks to everyone! :-)
gta needs 2.0 firmware
Two words: dev hook.Zitat:

use DevHookZitat:

ok, so then what exactly do i need to run homebrew/emulators now, if i can't use the gta exploit? Thanks again :)
EDIT, man you guys reply fast
ok, devhook
I'll try and figure out how to use that.
why would you want to load homebrew with the GTA loader?! you are on 1.5 now! you load it from the XMB. Use Devhook to play GTA. ANd yes Megaman Powered Up works with Devhook
can someone please answer this? can i delete the files used for this downgrader after i mfinished downgrading?
im about to downgrade....wish me luck........what do i do when it stops flashing and stuff
Why Is It So Hard For All You Noobies To Use Deturbanators Exe! It Has All You Need And Does Everything For You! All You Need To Do Is Extract The Exe To Your Psp And Then Run The Downdater And You Are Done...
Yes, you can delete them.. it's been stated many times. You can format your memorystick if you want (a good idea anyways).Zitat:

Thnak You Soo Much Dude!!!!!!!!!
am i right, by saying that this devhook is for playing psp games loaded onto the memory stifck, which before required higher firmware?
and to ask my original question in another way. I was using GTA to use emulators. My question is, now that i'm 1.5, what do i need in order to run emulators now?
"freedom369" Yes, you can delete the DOWNGRADER folder, and the DOWNGRADERTEST folder, and nothing will happen :)
really quick....im about to hit the button...is there anything else i neeed to know...what do i do when it stops flashing
Thats it. Go ahead you can do it.Zitat:

Nothing really most emulators are already 1.5 compatible, that meaning that they come with both folders/eboots.
From what ive read it takes about 2 minutes.Zitat:
