Nothing really most emulators are already 1.5 compatible, that meaning that they come with both folders/eboots.
I have a US 1.5 upgraded to 2.6. It has IC6001 on the left side of the UMD tray (looking at the PSP from the back) written on the green mobo partially hidden behind some metal.

I've got everything set up exactly as needed, just need clarification on the IC6001 if anyone can help out.

After i updated, i can no longer put files in the root of the memory stick, also is it safe to delete all those logs created by the beta downdater in the root?

well i got a psp about 4 weeks ago. it came with 2.5 and i want to downgrade should i up grade to 2.6 first then downgrade
2.5 can downgrade as well, you don't need to upgrade.Zitat:

The psphacks downgrader was 53 kb and the pspupdates one was 41 kb which one is the right one? I think the 53 is the beta one
