I have checked my mobo previously and I don't have the TA-82 mobo. So its 100% ok for me to downgrade, assuming the bricking warning is the same as if it wasn't factory firmware?

yes, you are fine to downgrade...

wait if TA-82 have 1.5 blacklisted why not use a 1.0 dump ??

cause the dump required a 1.5 update eboot...
there is no 1.0 update eboot, since 1.0 is tha first FW made...

• Motherboard - IC6001 (TA-081 : I am lead to believe)
• 2GB Sandisk MS PRO Duo (550MB Free)

*Might be stupid to some* But Because i'm currently running 2.60 FW, am i right in using the 2.60 downdater (NOT the 2.50)

it would need some tweaking, i broke my psp while testing that theory, i edited the source, and ran it, bricked my psp that i UPGRADED so you guys wouldnt brick it testing it.

WHY the hell did you test it anyway ??? The downdater 0.5 is hardcoded to write the 1.50 IPL ! There is no way it would work with another fw than 1.50 !

When i had 2.01, i hated haveing to load GTA all the time to play homebrew, and i think it would be nice for TA82ers to be able to get 2.00.

I guess it wont make much of a diff. once the kernel patch is out, though

I successfully downgraded my 2.6 to 1.5. I got that error saying "The disc could not be read". I turned off my psp then removed the battery and left it for about 5 minutes. I still get this error from time to time, is this normal for everyone else?

Sweet. Flashing right now. And sorry about earlier. I has them all. I just swithed my eloader over to the alt boc and it finally showed up on the list(thats what was the matter). Wait! It just reset.1.5! Well thanks anyways deturbanator. And thanks to everyone that made this downgrader.

well, my method of compressing and storing the downgrader is better, but im sure there will be a few more saftey percautions like a battery chaeck, a AC check, and a screen that says "do not turn off or unplug psp"

you will brick... some files will be made on the memstick, and if there is not enough space it will brick...
