Who ever tested this out as in from this site, and not those ones mentioned in the name was either pretty brave or pretty stupid! If you watched the movie he seemed to be using homebrew on a 2.50/2.60 version PSP and somehow had downgraded it to a 1.50!!!

This was all done without showing any proof of concept that the downgrade was actually from a 2.50/2.60 to a 1.50 and not from a 1.50 to well a 1.50!

But anways congrats although I ask myself something why does everyone go crazy when a downgrader is released? I mean I personally do not see myself upgrading and downgrading every second I need to. I want to be able to play homebrew from XMB on a 2.50/2.60! SO why all the fuss?

um, I cant understand your post but:

you cannot downgrade 2.7/2.71

you can downgrade 2.5/2.6

you cannot downgrade TA 82 hardware. if you try to, you will brick.

there is an exe, and the files on the 2nd page are just the downgrader, with nothing included, no dumps nothing.

I do have an exe that will do everything for you, with dumps and all...

Whats with the TA 082 PSP's? I thought you coudl not use the modchip but now I find out even homebrew aint working on it? If you ask me SONY has started to regain the war against homebrew! Yeah most of us do have non TA-082 PSP's but what about PSP2 when it is released! You all think they will not use the same type of chips even better?

no, it is the fact that sony mmade it so the TA 82 could not host a fw 1.5. they did this to prevent a downgrader with newer psps... even if an exploit was found.

you can run hombrew on TA 82, using gta and the eloader, but sorry no modchop either...

The chip found a work around so it DOES work on TA-082 chips...(I think). I believe it had something to do with voltage.

no, hombrew have been made in 2 types:

1.5 - only works on 1.5s

and 1.0 - will work on 1.0, 2.0, 2.01, 2.5, 2.6...

but all hombrew is compatable with 1.5, and 1.0, so the advantage of getting 1.5 is to get 100% hombrew compatability
