I was reading the instructions for the 2.5/2.6 downgrader, and i had a question. Is is possible to use just the 2.5 psp to downgrade to 1.5, or do u have a 1.5 psp to downgrade the 2.5 to 1.5 psp?

You should look at the poll thread for the success rate and decide for yourself. Maybe you should wait for the non-beta version to be released if you're in no hurry.

i just want ot make sure how do u tell if your psp is a ta 082 and if it is a 82 then it doesnt work right??

i followed the instructions exactly and my psp went to the black screen; the orange memstik light was solid for approx 4 seconds, then the PSP shutdown. I waited for about 2 minutes, then restarted and I am still at 2.60. Now i'm afraid to try it again...

what do you think went wrong??

i haven't downgraded so don't take my word for it but i think you have got the wrong files or something

I'm using the one from deturbanator.


okay i was using the fontmod...

so i deleted the fontmod folder and reset to default.

now im still scared to run it...

what do you you highly intellectual individuals think about this??

I know you can't 'post' the downtdater folder, but could someone list the names of all the files in it so I know I have the right thing?

Also, where do I get the folder you put in psp/game? I downloaded the thing for 2.60 (linked in many posts) but there was only an EBOOT in the rar file (it was password protected)

I was wondering do I just make a folder called "downdater/2.60/downgrader" in psp-> game and then just put the eboot in it?

Ok, I have a exe file that will contain everything you need.
It will automaically extract all the files you need in the right place.
All you have to do is extract the file to the root of your memory stick/psp drive (they are the same thing.
EX: f:/ (letter might be different)
After you extract the files, run the eloader, and run the downgrader.
Wait till the psp restarts and you are done!
