Is it safe to use a 32 MB MS to downgrade? Just keeping the Required files for the downgrade on the MS?
I hear that with the final version it is okay to use...but to be on the safe side i would not. let someone else give you a definate answer.Zitat:

I downgraded my psp on a 32mb mem stick, worked perfectly :)
Just format your mem stick before putting the downgrade stuff on.
Just downgraded perfectly! I just want to say a BIG BIG thanks to all the devs that have made this dream possible! You guys rock! Now I'm trying to figure how to use DevHook and install homebrew in 1.5 format :p
is it confirmed that its safe to downgrade a psp that came with 2.5
yes if it was not a TA-082 :) :Jump:Zitat:

Mines downgrading now. Gd im ****ting myself
woohoo it worked :D It didnt take to long either :/ Once it restarted and I went through all the settings and whatnot I went to system settings and my PSP froze :o
It restarted on it's own and come up with "System Software Must Be Updated" so I think it tried to load the UMD and crashed :/
Now with all these "unclean" reports is it worth upgrading to 2.0 and down again to 1.5?
I had black PSP with 2.50 Japanese firmware (bought like this in shop).
I was so worried when use the downgrader but, it worked so well.
Just had to set up again when completed, and then worked well. Finally... no more need to use GTA to run my application!
Thank you so much! :)
2.50 -> 1.50 -> 2.00 -> 1.50
I didnt see the harm in downgrading again.
Just wanted to post a thank you to those in the IRC channel who helped me out.
I send good karma to you all.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone in the dev of this awesome homebrew, from Dark Alex to Mathieulh and Yoshihiro right through to fanjita for the eloader. Hey i have come across some files and in the instructions it says:
- Place the PSP and the DOWNDATER folders in the root of your memorystick.
- Init GTA and the GTA Loader
- In the GTA Loader menu, choose the downdater test.
in the psp folder there is downdater eboot and in the DOWNDATER folder there is a bunch of outher files. I just wanna know will this work or is this some scam thing? Also how the hell do i install this?? i cant find all the files for the downgrader? Anyone know where i can get all the files i need?

PS: Will these files work with a 32mb???
Ok, this is another successful story from another user. I just did this downgrade within less than 5 minutes.
For the no0bs whom are still searching for answers:
1. Get a 2.6 PSP
2. Download http://pspupdates.qj.net/Easy-2-50-2...g/49/aid/57911
3. Make sure you get the 1.5 downdater files, and put the entire directory into your memstick, i.e (G:\downdater\)
4. Copy over the files from step 2. into your memstick\PSP\GAME\ direcotry
5. Run GTA
6. The update program from step 2 should automatically run (I believe it's called the eboot loader)
7. Run the 'Downdater Test' program, and also make sure your PSP is hooked up to the AC Adaptor.
8. Once you run the program, the screen will go black for a minute or two as the mem-stick light indicator flashes.
9. My PSP automatically rebooted itself, and once it came back on, I checked in the System Info menu, and it claimed my PSP was a 1.5.
All done my friend.
That's all.
I swear.
Thanks to all whom helped me.
Well I did it,I'm so happy.
Thank you,love you all.
