They are not so hard to get in my opinion. I'm new to the PSP scene and i downgraded mine just 2 days ago. (only had my psp for 4 days by then)Zitat:

You dont need luck, Ive tried it on 3 psps already. It works gauranteed.(just make sure its not ta-82 hardware!!!)

Hi, i live in canada BC, and i cant seem to find any gta:lcs's
im all set to downgrade, except that i cant run the eloader
does anybody know a good source (online or offline)
to get used gta:lcs's(since new gtas are patched up and cant run eloader)?
or is willing to sell their own?
i'd love to add to the success rate and im looking forward to it

I don't mean to sound like a broken record here, yes I have heard some speculation that the FINAL downgrader works on a 32mb stick, but I would like to know actually how much space the downgrader eats away from the stick. I know that with the eLoader, downgrader & firmware dump it takes up about 14mb, but I need to know how much space is used up after the downgrade is complete. Like, how much is used DURIng the downgrader... Before I can go on, I really wanna be safe. I cannot afford a modchip, let alone a new psp!!
Can anyone test this out please?
EDIT: oh, and I also heard about this new EASY downgrader by Xtrusion, should I use that or the link provided by Deturbinator?
use the link by deturb its really easy and awsome. I just wanna know if the one deturb has will work on a 32mb stick....

I bought psp japanese version 2.5 then i upgraded it to 2.6 to play generation of chaos. I upgrade from the game disk. Can I downgrade it to 1.50 ?
My psp information model is PSP 1000.
I check the back of the UMD reader section but I only saw the reading on left side... and it is covered by the components.. but i manage to find out that the reading are IC6001 ?
Will I be able to downgrade the firmware.

It's safe.
downgraded two running the original 32mg from sony, formated and upgraded from 2.01 to 2.6 after formated again and copied the files, GTA and downgraded fine.
today i´ll go for the second part, upgrade to 2.0 and aply the old tiff downgrader, almost tempted to down to 1.0 and bring it up to 1.5 but i guess i´ll do it the old fashion way.
if i bring to 1.0 and then 1.5 will it keep the browser ? because on the tiff one it stops on 99 % and that´s my dilema betwen the two ways.
So will the one by deturb work on a 32mb memorystick??

btw the backup games works to you? ive heard that this downgrader leave tracks of 2.6 behind so you need to upgrade to 2.0 version and then downgrade to have a "clean 1.5"...
btw this easy downgrade tool works? and includes eloader?
