I prefer the manual way, it's only three files folders that need to be put on your memstick. If you aren't comfortable with moving folder on a computer or running homwbrew, then the automated one is a better option for a walkthrough.Zitat:

easy, just use an app like pspset, or xflash and change your firmware version to 1.50
so if i don't know anybody with 1.5 firmware i cant do it then??? please pm me. Sorry if i didn't read through all 200 odd posts to find and anwser

If it is, you're double screwed, because then even if an exploit is found and new downgrader released, you won't be able to downgrade. You won't even be able to use the modchip with a TA-082.

hey i have a question, my psp isn't Ta-082 0r whatever its called, but when i got it it was 2.5, and still is. and it says that i shouldn't upgrade. would it make a dif if i upgraded to 2.6 then downgrade? i doubt it, but you never know. any help would be appreciated.
You can downgrade factory 2.50 PSP's as long as you meet the hardware requirement.

init gta means start GTA liberty city
the eloader is made by fanjita www.noobz.eu you start it by loading the savegame in gta that says something about eloader.
but the elaoder comes up as corrupted data on 2.6 :S

if you don't have the web browser.. then you have to download a program called xflash, with that you can change to number to 1.5.Zitat:

I can run iso's from memory stick, but when i turn on my psp a voice say's BITE MY SHINEY METAL ASS.
Is this normal?
Also the icon above usb connection is disabled.

I just have one question, someone at work updated my psp to 2.6 from version 1.5, and I dont own GTA, so is there any way to downgrade back to 1.5 without GTA?

Uh, no. You're doing something stupid, it's not the easy downgrader. It works perfectly fine. It's the SAME EXACT THING as the one on the first post, they just made a program to put the files where they need to be and added instructions.Zitat:
