What is that, I dont know of any 1.50 dump.

I dont even think I have any of the right files, let alone know how to do this.

Edit: Look all I wanna know is can I do this (downgrade my 2.50 to a 1.50), Im leaving for a trip in less then 8 hours and I would like to do it before then.

does anyone having trouble unzipping the downgrader_auto_final released file? I'm getting "header is corrupted" in WINRAR, need help plz...btw, how do u know what version of gta will work with this downgrader.

Hi All,

Just tried the auto downgrader installer along with eLoader 0.97 Bock. After going into eLoader and selecting 'DownDate Test' the memory card appears to start accessing, the screen goes blank and then the memory card stops flashing.

After 4 or 5 minutes I manually restarted the psp as it doesnt appeared to have worked and it comes back up with original 2.50 firmware.

Checking the PCB I am not using a TA-082.. has anyone experienced a similar problem and can offer advice?

Do I need to upgrade my 2.01 to 2.5 inorder to run the downgrader? Or can I run the 2.5 downgrader with my 2.01 firmware, so that it can downgrade to a 1.5.

Animedown, you will need to update to either 2.5 or 2.6 in order to downgrade
Also, doesnt sound like you have a TA-082 motherboard, but check, just to be sure

sweet i just downgraded frum 2.6 to 1.5 im nub with homebrew and everything but i heard about gpSP emulator and wanted to downgrade, initially for some reason i couldnt get the downgrader to show up in eLoader but then i just read that quote from Freeplay and i just renamed the folder containing EBOOT.PBP and it worked :D thanks to everyone that made this possible :D:D:D:D:D

this installs every thing u need except the downdater 1.5 files. search around torrents or google.

It amazes me how little people read before starting something like a downgrade! Is it just me or are some people really, really dumb when it comes to things like these?

LOL, I went over the first post several times before I downgraded ...

of course those were the days before I bricked my psp using flash psp :(

but then again, i get my modded psp in 3 days :tup:

Is GTA required? I have tried installing the new eLoader (0.98 - Porter) and have put the eboot in the DOWNDATERTEST folder under games and have the DOWNDATER folder with the 1.5 dump in it in the root. When I try running the eboot from the eMenu (new eLoader) the screen kinda flickers and then comes back to the eMenu.

Can anyone get different results? I want to play homebrew on the 2.6 (coz of the browser) but I also want to be able to downgrade to 1.5 for kernel mode access.

Right now if I want to do that I have to upgrade to 2.6 from 1.5, play homebrew, upgrade to 2.71 and then downgrade again to 1.5 using the 2.71 downdater.

Any help appreciated...

deturb.. i have read your past posts about gettin the eloader.. is there a certain one that you have to get.. i see the links that you gave out but they dont seem to be coming up.. and you seem smart so let me ask you a question.. whats the src folder in the DOWNGRADER_FINAL_AUTO.rar ... do you need to include it or is it not neccessary.. i keep on hearing that the only failiur is people installing it wrong.. so i want to make sure i do it right.. on the tutorial. it only mentions put the final_auto eboot in the GAME folder.. and the Files that you got from the 1.5 in the root.. is that all .. leave out src folder.. ?

sorry.. one more question.. im pretty sure im alowed to say this and if im not.. then correct me and i will remove my post.. i have recieved the downdater a while ago from one of Dark_alexs older non 100% working downgraders.. the xtrusion full2.60/2.50 one.. since i have heard that some people got negative feedback on the downgrader.. this downdater folder will still work if i use it in this downgrader right.. im no programer so i would have no idea if it would be ok to take this folder from that downgrader and apply to this one.. thanks for your time... hope you can help..

The "src" is the source. You don't need that unless you are a dev.

Yeah... I have no idea what your trying to say. If it doesnt turn on at all, then well your pretty much screwed. If it does turn on and keeps giving you an error message of some sort, take out the battery for 5 minutes and put it back in. Problem fixed.:)

You have the newer, patched version of GTA. eLoader doesn't work at all for that.

Just upgrade to 2.71 and use the tiff downgrader.

can the 1.50 "helper" stuff be done in 2.71SE instead? seeing as 2.71se has the same capabilities?

nope, 2.71 SE-X has a combination of 2.71 and 1.5 Flash0/1 files, i wouldn't try it

ok guys im trying to downgrade my bro's psp but there seems to be a huge issue and im confused!!first of all he has a FW 2.6 psp(thats how it came when he bought it) and i have checked the outside of the box to see it it was downgradeable....ok so it reads "WS259 I" apparently thats a sign that its not a "TA-082" motherboard(from another QJ member here)..ok.then i check the inside of the UMD drive and it reads "IC1003"(upsidedown) so its means that IT IS a "TA-082" motherboard!!!???WTF?can anyone elaborate on this??which is it?downgradeable or not???i would appreciate if ppls here would help.thanx

what?no i dont, this was bought like 2 months ago but we decided to downgrade.also i have read on other post that ppls have the same issue.i have both the "IC1003" on the left and the "IC6001" to the right of the psp when facing the back.any ideas?

I bought my psp right on the day PSP was released, is it a downgradable console?

it is upgraded to 2.6, and i download the complete version of the downgrader(2.6 - 1.5)(.exe file by deturb) but i dont understand what's "init GTA and eLoader".
can someone help me with it?

a complete guide of what i should do and what i should be having would be great!
