You need Gta to use eloader ,and eloader to use downgrader.

psp hacking 101 released a video of how to d0wngrade 2.50/2.60 in their recent video but it doesn't state to use the AC adaptor (charger)so it may not be required but to be in the safe side its best to plug in the charger just in case you forgot to charge your battery recently you don't want to brick your psp whiles it d0wngrading now all because you had a low battery

Well can somebody enlighten me which one is the correct path to the downgrader?
Because i've been hearding different things on where to put it...

Well i know that the downdater folder is on the root of the memstick
ex:
H:\Downdater

but i have doubts in this one... which is the correct? (I have an 2.5)

or

H:\PSP\GAME\DOWNDATERTEST \Eboot.pbp

In the pspupdates main page it says the first one, but everyone keeps telling me that the correct one is the second...

So tired.. of this question... yes, it works on factory firmware. That fact is why the warning was removed from the readme.

Because you are using eLoader to load it, it doesn't really matter. If it did matter you wouldn't be able to find the program in the eLoader's menu.

What part of "Do not ask or offer help in finding firmware dumps" did you not understand? These files are illegal to distribute but you should be able to find them elsewhere easily enough without our help.

P.S. There is no such things as an EU 1.5 but any 1.5 will do.

Ok i've just been looking at the latest Automatic EBOOT file in PBP Unpacker and it's coming up with an invalid/missing PNG file. Does anyone know if this would this cause any problems?

If an image comes up corrupted, it either doesn't exist at all or it is the wrong color depth. Either way it won't affect anything.

Follow the guide.. if your motherboard isn't a TA-082 then go to town. Whether it's from Europe, or it's a 1004K, or was 2.01 to begin with is of no concern; the motherboard version is the only worry.
