Holy crap it worked!

No, your question was answered; answer = 13 mb. It's not our fault if you don't like the answer. Do some more research if you need to.
Zitat von PSP-Maniac
One thing I've noticed is you seem to have no patience but expect some from everyone else.. it doesn't work that way.

Are you sure that you didn't use a TA-082 psp? Because that could have resulted in a big fat brick...
Zitat von DragoslaV
Sorry to hear about that, and if it is a ta-082, you can't even use the modchip to fix it, so you're double screwed.
And the modchip sucks anyway, because it's $100, plus $100 for installation, uGLY! Might as well get a new psp.

Ok I Posted earlier about having a 2.5 factory. I upgraded to 2.6 than downgraded to 1.5.
Also I originally had a 1.5 that I bought on launch date and have been playing monster hunters via iso from memory stick.
The newly downgraded psp would not load Monster Hunters at all.
I then upgraded to 2.0 and used the mph downgrader to downgrade to 1.5. This fixed whatever was wrong. Monster Hunters now loads on my newly downgraded psp. thought some may want to know this.

But after I pressed "DOWNDATE TEST" it would load and I see for 1 sec: Eloader v0,97
After that it turns black (as expected) but then the backlight goes off and I wont see my memorycard flashing..

All the files you need are in the new download. follow these instructions and you will not fail.
Instructions:
1. Extract the files from the download below. Place the “DOWNDATER” folder into the ROOT of your memory stick.
2. Now open the folder appropriate for your firmware version (”2.50″ or “2.60″) and copy the “DOWNDATERTEST” folder into “PSP/GAME”.
3. Run GTA and load the eLoader.
4. In the eLoader menu, choose the downdater test. (WARNING: the program won’t output any display and any warnings, it will initiate the downgrader process inmediately.)
5. The memory stick light will flash indicating the PSP is being flashed from the files on the memory stick.
6. The screen WILL NOT display anything for safety purposes! It will be completely black and the backlight will remain on.
7. Now just wait. It will take a few minutes. The memory stick light will flash for a while and then the PSP will restart on its own.
8. If all worked correctly, you will have to set the date/time, nickname, etc.
9. After setting things up, you may get a disc read error. This is normal. Just open the UMD drive and reset the PSP. You might also want to go to the system settings and restore default settings.
10. Congratulations! You can now enjoy the full benefits of firmware 1.5! If things didn’t go so well, you might still have 2.5/2.6 or even worse a paperweight. YOU TOOK THE RISK!
The readme file states that you must obtain the files from someone.. This is obviously not an updated readme file. Just follow the directions listed in this post and you will be golden.
Parc don't be scared man it will work.
fingers crossed.

Can I get the 1.5 files from someone who has already downgraded/version changed or will it only work with a pure 1.5?
-
07-03-2006, 07:38 AM #2601TheMarioKartersGuest
It will work from any 1.5.

Same happened to me...I just blew the dust out of the ends of the wire, worked perfectly then.

The best thing for everyone to do is reformat their memorysticks after downgrading.
Zitat von royal55
#1. It's a good thing to do from time to time anyways.
#2. The format is slightly different on 1.5 compared to 2.0 and above. Programs like PSPBrew won't read the stick as being inserted in a 1.5 PSP.

I would like to recommend that it is probably good for you to reformat not only after but also BEFORE downgrading...just so the stick is clean and then you are almost guaranteed no bricks (from a MS error anyway)
