Anyone know if there is any updated info about the success rate?
I´m still a little worried (don´t want to brick my shine psp :P), anyone tried with a factory 2.5?
There some people telling me to upgrade to 2.6 and then downgrade to 1.5, should I try or wait a little longer to see how will go the development in the 2.5/6?

ok i am here again about my usb.i tried blowing dust out of it and it worked and then when i took it out and put it back in the same message appears "one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it" im not sure if i got much dust out or what.should i go out and buy some compressed air and spray some in the usb drive and my usb cables.i do everthing using my usb with my psp *PLEASE HELP**

Yeah I used the beta v5 and it downgraded my thingie, also downloaded this for future purposes since its the final and all... nice, its nice to be at 1.5 again.

I got the necessary files, and followed the instructions, and I'm now running 1.5

hustler wait on it dont rush to use this, this will brick your psp it will not work on your ta 82. another forum member tried it and bricked his psp his experience has been stickied if you want to read it. so be patient and wait on it if not you'll end up with a 200 dollar paper weight.

No, its not a TA-*** model. It does not have the code in the top r/h corner. There is another code on the PCB but its to the left & almost hidden. A picture can be found on page6 of the 'bricked TA-** PSP' thread
