Because it takes time for the VNC to load the wanted area. I guess it will be fixed in the next versions.

ok, i mean sometimes when im moving around it actually STAYS gray and eventually the whole screen is gray and you cant see nuthing...I was wondering if this happens to anyone else? I usually have to disconnect and when I try connecting to the host I get an error: cannot initialize...To fix this I usually have to restart the TightVNC then it will connect properly..

Right click on your desktop -> proporties -> Settings -> Advanced -> click on the monitor tab -> uncheck "Hide modes that this monitor can't display" -> Apply -> OK, and now you can have any resolution your vid card can handle.
Note: some monitors will give a "sync. Out of Range" message if you set it a high res and a high refresh rate, just wait 15 seconds and windows will reset your res to what you had last. |

Just go to google and type resolution changer. I found on on the first list free I could get it pretty low but none will get psps perfect fit. Also I noticed that If you have over 7 icons on your desktop it will go below the screen res and you won't be able to get it. But I think I have a solution to that. Make a folder put all your desktop icons in it and then drag the folder to the very top of your screen makes it into a tool bar.
