I just used the auto-downgraded full version and it was successful. Perfect and I didn't need to manual restart like some have. Now that I've got my brothers 1.5 it is time to let him play with my 2.71.

Downgraded my both 2.01´s then another 2.01 of a friend and another 2.01, bought a value pack 2.5 fw from factory with 2giga card and also went fine, tomorow i´m downgrading a 2.6 of a friend that came from repair the buttons and acepting requests ...
GTA must pay it self and so the rest of the PSP´s and memory sticks.
Yeah, i flashed 5 with success and each one took 4 flashes excluding the 2.5 wich had only 3.
By the way ... i´m using 4 cards of 32mg for this task, one haves 2.6 update (if needed) other haves the downdater, another with the 2.0 update and the final haves the old downgrader with tiff so i only have to swap to sticks.
bought also a usb cable to feed the psp from a laptop avoiding the energy failures i´m trying next a 12 volt small battery to feed the PSP on car adapter, like that i can make it anywhere and even recharge the battery with a 12 volt solar panel.
I´m making this a part time job.
After the downgrade, you may delete those files, have fun with 1.5 ;)Zitat:

:Punk: Another 2.6 from factory downgraded with success, this one came from repairing in Spain, after looking into the UMD i started the usual job and all went fine as always.

1 x 2.5
1 x 2.6
all good and acepting requests ... found a part time job indeed GTA was a very good investement after all.
I do all this with 4 memory sticks from sony each one with their own flash.
2.6, downdater, 2.0 and downgrader, suplly always with the laptop to avoid accidents.

Got a european value pack with 2giga memory and was letter H, downdated imediatly without upgrading at all, downdater goes fine with 2.5 or 2.6 as long as it isn´t 1003 in the board, my bigest fear was to use the 220 volt supply now i use the usb cable suppling the energy while flashing.Zitat:

I'm buying a game every 2 months wich i think it is a good thing (around 25€/month).
The more games will be buy the more investmentsony will do in the psp.
Morevoer it let you know what game should be buy and not.
So you can support studios you love.
Of course we all prefered an other way to get game : buy them directly to dev for 1/4 of the actual price, through internet.
But it don't seems to be a pleasing idea to majors distributing games.

Man I swear that retarted FULL "easy downgrader" does not work. No way ive bricked my 2nd PSP with that garbage today. I do exactly what the dam thing says. I wish i can see someone post a vid of using the "FULL" easy downgrader throughout the whole process with audio...If i cant someone who could do that i will just try my luck with the Dark Alex one where u gotta find the DOWNDATER files yourself, and when that happens i still wont know what to do because thier exists not a tutorial for that but for using a 1.5 PSP to get the files and transfer to the 2.5/2.6 one. God why is this is dam annoying.
Go away and check if your bricks were TA-082s. If they weren't then you can come back here and blame the downgrader.Zitat:

yes isn't I_Use_It_At_My_Own_Risk and that's what i type, but it will not unzip correctly. what program did u use to unpack the file?

it's not the psp i'm having the problem, the problem is that i can't unzip the downgrader onto my computer. it kept on saying "header is corrupt" in winrar
get a different archive...
do u know of any good "intact" achives out there. I got the one from this website and it doesn't work.
