Im sure people are anxious to try the new downgrader but dont want to risk bircking their psp so ive decided to start a poll so people can tell us their results :)

Please sticky as im sure this will help quite a fiew people :)

So far the success rate is 99.99%. Out of ~500 people that have done it already (juding by the 1000 posts in the thread, most of them confirmations + those who didn't) 499 of then succeeded, and 1 didn't. And that 1 person was me.

yes it worked flawlessy. It even restarted my PSP automatically after it was done

(oh **** sorry. I just realised you said don't vote if we had a factory firmware of 2.50 or 2.60

)

i had a 2.5 EU psp(from fabric)
worked fine :)
before i ran the downgrader i was shaking as hell

Vote all you want, i just thought it wouldnt work with that firmware, congrats with that, ill delete that message about having a factory 2.5/2.6 now

I had a 1.50 than a 2.01 than a 2.60..and hopefully soon i'll be back where i started....

I cried when i saw the news about a working downgrader...see...
I upgraded my 1.50 to 2.01..than i came to pspupdates..and realised what a n00b i'd been...

Now i can go back to were i started :P

I was bored today so when i heard about this, i upgraded my 1.5 PSP to 2.6 then downgraded and it worked perfectly.

I have had a 2.01 since december,
this mornings routine was the following..

upgraded it to 2.5
then downgraded to 1.5

worked a treat.

no the root is the f:/
or what evr your drive letter is but it is the first screen you see when you plug ur psp into a pc and the windwos pops up

Sone I am going to trade in my 1.5 to best buy, the MP3 port is proken, I will check the boxes and Hope for a 2.01 or bellow. Then I will do the whole upgrade/ downgrade. Then I will downgrade my friends PSP.
