How do you get the roms to work on fMSX? Whenever I try to run any roms, it takes me back to the home screen.

you need a copy of msx BIOS (depending on what msx machine the rom needs to be in) dont ask where to find them, they're illegal, but if you need help setting up fMSX you can PM me.

You have to have the BIOS. They are then placed inside the fMSX folder (NO PLACE ELSE!). Once that is done, start the program. Find out what version of MSX you have to run for the software you wish to run on fMSX. Change the MSX2+ to the correct corresponding. Then choose the software in ROM1 and remember to press the D-Pad RIGHT TWICE, so you get 2 Konami 8bit (or something like that, all I remember is it is number two). Then in ROM2, you have to choose the correct bio. For example, if you were running Metal Gear 2, you would choose MSX2 on the forum above the Rom Selector. After that you would choose the rom in ROM1 and press right twice. Finally, you would select MSX2.ROM in the ROM2 slot and press POWER.

I have no idea what's gone wrong, over here.
I'm running fMSX for PSP 0.61+ on a V1.5 PSP.
These are the setting I'm using-
MSX TYPE- MSX2
ROM 1- ms0:/PSP/GAME/MSX/SOLIDE12.ROM 2 Konami5 8kB
ROM 2- ms0:/PSP/GAME/MSX/MSX2.ROM 0 Generic 8kB

When I select Power, I just get sent to the main screen again.

The Bios, the one in ROM 2 slot, it MUST be in a SUBFOLDER labeled "BIOS" in the fMSX folder. Sorry if I did not emphasize.

fMSX is complicated, still trying to figure out myself how to get the MSX 1 to work right all the time.
