this is kinda worthless the way i read it, it says get the primary and secondary dns which can only be gotten by conecting to the routers web page thus making this whole idea stupid casue u cant just walk into a public place and jump on there wireless with ur psp unless u have a wireless laptop to detect that and get the dns which defeats the purpose so unless i misunderstood this some how and if i did plz correct me cause i want this to work

You folks are making it much too hard on the kid.
Look, all you need to do is let the PSP do its autoconfigure via DHCP. Once it gets the configuration done and is able to get on the wireless, go back to the network settings, and VIEW the details. It should tell you all the connection settings it came up with. Just write all the numbers down, then reconfigure it as static. Of course, this won't help you anyway, since nearly every public place has firewalls which keep you from using VNC on it, plus most of them are too slow for VNC. |
