PSP Hardware Ver. SpotLight for Firmware 2.5/2.6

Download-Link: HW_SpotLight.zip

HOWTO:

Extract HW_SpotLight to MemStick
Run it on eLoader with GTA
it will show PSP use Old or New Hardware

NOTE
"IC1003" just is LABEL for "InfraRed communication module"
NOT mean that is NEW Ver HardWare(TA-082)
ALL Ver. HardWare have this LABEL

ONLY when open UMD door can see "IC1003" in the right upper corner
that mean this is NEW Ver HardWare(TA-082)!!

This screams for a downgrader update! Dark_Alex this should be integrated ASAP if possible to prevent future bricks.

Is it that new IC1003's cannot be downgraded but the old hardware can?

No, its that any psp with IC1003 is TA-82 hardware, which means if you even try to downgrade it, it will be bricked.

Yes... Ookm is right... on non-TA-082 Boards, that Message is just placed on different Location... so you cant see it... except u disassemble ur psp

Okay, I think I understand now.

The IC1003 can be on any board, but if it is in the upper right hand corner it is TA-082.

This just takes the guesswork out of it. Since some cannot tell the left from right.
