Otherwise why would he work on 2.6 first instead of going directly to 2.71.

and i've done it myself. i would post the reboot.bin, but not legal

u can too. just use fake updater on a 2.71 eboot and then but the compressed reboot.bin and reboot.bin.gzip (u need to get this differently) then but it in FD on ur ms root. then use the decompresser and u have a decompressed reboot.bin.

done and done

"Esta herramienta descomprime el reboot.bin de 2.71.

Requerimientos:

-Un dump desencriptado de 2.71 obtenido con prxdecrypt27X for 2.60 en /FD/

- Firmware 1.50.

El programa usara directamente una funcion de 2.71 en 1.50 para descomprimir el archivo.

El archivo sera descomprimido desde ms0:/FD/reboot.bin.gzip a ms0:/FD/reboot.bin

Una vez descomprimido el archivo deberia tener aproximadamente ~92 KB."

from readme. in spanish or something but u can make it out.

Im waiting for BOOSTER to update devhook so that we can emulate 2.71. But then i will keep 2.60 as well, for cheatdevice on GTA.

I would agree...but i also had to put 2.00 & 2.50 on mine to play games that require it, even though i would emulate 2.60...
